Aren't Evolutionists just as dogmatic as Creationists?

I notice that Evolutionists are always giving smug anwers to questions, with an air of certainty which reminds me exactly of the close-minded Christian Creationists that they despise. Neither of these groups have any proof of what they are saying.Religion is a matter of faith, not facts, and let's not forget that the theory of evolution is just that, a THEORY. The fact is, none of us were around back then, so we do not know. You can beleive whatever you want, but you don't know. For all we know, we could be genetically modified chimps created by an alien race in a laboratory. I can't prove it, but you can't disprove it. Theories are not facts, and beleifs are not knowledge. Do you agree?
