People that trim horses hooves themselves; is it hard?

Ask your farrier to teach you. You must get the hooves even, otherwise your horse is off balance. Is there a place that you could do a course on bare foot trimming. I don't where you are, but in Australia, we have TAFE courses for this, so maybe you have to google and see if there is a place that teaches owners who are interested in doing their own horses. Otherwise just ask your farrier to teach you properly.
